Recent visit to Newport Rosecliff Mansion for the annual Newport Flower Show prompted me to reblog this love story. High society in Paris of the late 19th Century and the Newport Summer Scene are similar in that they just how social creatures we all are. This is a retelling of a romantic intrigue that is poignant and demonstrates the privileges of class and its responsibilities that still resonate today.
