The Illusion of the Moon and Sun as They Near the Horizon: A Recurring Mirage?

The left side [bottom] has a picture of moon rising early in evening with its warmer but more squashed, flattened top. The later moon, higher altitude moon vertically above it is taller making it rounder and whiter with less warm tints. The higher altitude, later moon is also pictured in lower bottom right showing how it rounds out above the green line. The horizontal width does not alter. The fist photographed at 8:30 PM PDT and the second picture at 9:50 PM PDT on the evening of June 9, 2017. NASA Photograph. The Mirage Moon phase with large, oversized Moon imagery has already passed! It occurs before and early on in the first stage of the moon rising.
