The blue moon as defined by a calendar season having not three but four full moons is Sunday [08/22/2021] & Hurricane Henri is making landfall in New England within hours of the full moon phase. The third full moon is traditionally classified as a ‘blue moon’ and the extra full moon for that season is a ‘late moon.’ The historical pattern for a tropical storm and/or hurricane to hit the coast in the Northeast during a full moon has been overlooked.
